Welcome to Cowboy21Music, located in Bakersfield,CA, the West Coast Capital of Country Music, home of the Bakersfield Sound, Buck Owens and the Buckaroos, Merle Haggard, Red Simpson, Steve Davis and the Stampede, , Smoking Armadillos, Rick "Reno" Stevens, the band KORN, and many more fantastic song writers, musicians, singers, producers, and music studios.  Cowboy21Music was created to link good quality sound recordings to music lovers everywhere. Some of the best songs are never heard, and this site is designed to change that.  Every month we will feature a song or songs that our board of directors feel deserves your download.  Although we are a label created with the intention to market our clients, we feel others need to be heard, as well as, their story.  Some doctor, teacher, oil worker, business owner, or janitor at one time aspired to be a recording artist, or song writer, but their story took them on a side road away from that dream.  Hopefully, we can encourage them to get back on that road, continue to write songs, and maybe jump into the studio to record.  This artist has a career, with no intentions to start another, nor the time to risk being on the road as a performer, pursuing a record label away from family, and putting food on the table; however, with new digital technology they can be heard with a few clicks of the mouse.  We encourage this dreamer to dream again, whether you're 30, 40, 50, or 60+years old.  We all know that talented friend, neighbor, relative, or brother, so encourage them to get back on that road and submit their song to us. There's the artist that does have a full time job, and on the road away from family. We want to hear your story and music, as well.  This artist has yet to sign with a major record label, but inspires to make a career out of his music ( or band ).  We know you have that ONE song, that did not gain traction in the industry, but should be heard by everyone.  Again, our Board of Directors will vote on the submissions and feature your song here.

That's him in the cover photo jumping bare foot down a dirt road in his birth state of Wyoming,,,,,,  His daughter shot this photo with her iPhone, capturing his personality, athletic ability at 50 years old, and the symbolization he's ready to Fly.  His song writing, acting, and singing career was put on hold, after his 3rd child, and the need to pursue steady income to provide for his family. He wrote about 40 songs that have never been recorded, and never heard (except by his wife, 3 daughters and dogs)..... Well, at 50 years old, he finally recorded a Country Christmas song he wrote in December 2001, which he didn't do anything with, because he didn't want to capitalize on the issues surrounding 911.... you'll see why when you hear the song. We are featuring this song, as well as, his story in November and December.  He is inspired to do more and we will continue to post his work, but we also hope to have other dreamers and current artist songs featured.
